Why ‘The Peculiar Hair Club?’. Well, to be Peculiar is to be different than expected or what is normal, strange. And thats exactly what I am. I’ve realised over the years that so many of us feel that way. It was so important to create a hair space, where we could all be a little ‘more me’ to ourselves.

Organisation in all areas of my life is a priority. I laugh when I’m nervous, usually at the most inappropriate times! I value kindness and when I settle down at night I like to think I’ve left the world (for at least one person) a happier place than when I woke up.

Stylist + Colorist

I was 4 years old when I decided I wanted to be a ‘hairdresser’, and I’ve never regretted the decision. While i do it all, from cutting extreme short to extreme long and upstyling for occasions. I found over the the years I naturally gravitated towards Colour work (everything from creative to natural to the downright difficult cases) and Styling. I work mostly with Long Hair. I like to think nothing can’t be solved with a strong coffee and great Blowdry. I’m a Kemon Colour Specialist and IHF Masters Diploma recipient. Opening up my own little space has been the cherry on the top.

I have given a presentation on the work I do to help other Stylists realise their potential around holistic hairstyling. And actually enjoy being active on social media.

Family AIways

I generally keep my family life quite private from my work. I’ve got 3 beautiful boys. It can get a little chaotic by times but I count myself as being very fortunate to have these gorgeous souls in my life. We also added our 3 legged Dog Gary into the mix in summer 2023, she’s a rescue so feisty but also very protective. Most of my clients know her from being in the salon with me.

Jason and I decided to Tie the Knot in 2021, we have already had what seems like a lifetime of adventures together but cant wait to see what the future holds for us as a family. With many more memories to make and dreams to fulfill, it’s never a dull moment… They say ‘3 is a crowd’ ,I say ‘try 5, haha’:)
